"The center that feels like home"

The teacher is Miss Chelsea. Our class is for 4-5 years old. In this class we are working on getting ready for Kindergarten. We have a circle time which involves doing attendance, talking about the weather, recognizing letters and finding the ones that are missing, sing songs and read stories. We do an activity for the theme of the week plus worksheets on kindergarten ready material. We start to work on recognizing site words then go into reading easy reader books. We also go out each day, weather permitting. We have lunch provided by the center. Nap is from 11:30-2:00. The afternoon is less structured with a short circle time and an activity.
